What is your operating platform?

Our servers are running Windows NT version 4.0, with Service Pack 5 applied.

How are you connected to the Internet? We are currently connected to the internet via multiple T-1 lines from different companies, to ensure you get fast, uninterrupted service.  This means your system will always be connected to the Internet backbone and people that you allow to connect to your system will be able to do so from any place at any time of the day or night.
Do you provide dial-up accounts? No. Since we do not share our Internet connection with dial-up users, we are able provide our hosting clients with all of our available bandwidth.
May I pay by check or money order? Yes. Checks and money orders can be made payable to:

Remember that payment by check is only accepted on a quarterly (three month) basis.

How long will it take to set up my account? An account is usually configured within 24 hours, and sometimes as quickly as 12 hours. (Remember that NovaTech is in the Eastern Time Zone and that may affect the timing).  If we have any questions, however, we made need a response to our emails before we can complete your account configuration. Remember, anyone applying for an account is automatically agreeing to all of our Policies and Guidelines, so please read them carefully before filling out your order form.
How will I be invoiced each month? Clients paying by credit card are invoiced automatically each month. Clients paying by check will be mailed an invoice quarterly.
Will I get receipt? Our credit card processing will automatically email you a receipt each time you are billed. For this reason, it is important that you notify us of any updates to your email address.
What if I want to cancel my account? Simply send an email to billing@novatech.net to notify us of your wishes. We will cancel your account at the end of your current billing cycle. Unlike many hosting services, we only require a 5 day notification. We understand the need for our clients to be flexible.
What additional setup fees are there other than the ones listed on my selected rate plan? None. We have no hidden fees.
How do I know if the domain name I want is available? Choosing a name is very important. Click here to see if the name you desire is available. If it is not, try changing it to .net instead of .com, or adding another word to the name. Try to make your name as easy as possible for your visitors to remember by relating it to your site as well as you are able. Use common spellings if possible. Then imagine you are a visitor who has forgotton your web address and check out some names that they might use to try to find you. Be sure there isn't a domain with an extremely similar name that might take one of your visitors somewhere you don't want them to go accidently. For example, if you wish to create a gardening site at "hothouse.net", make sure there isn't a pornographic adult site at "hothouse.com". 
Do you host adult sites or warez sites? No. In addition, no site promoting an illegal activity of any kind is permitted. Any account found to be uploading any files prohibited in our Policies and Guidelines will have all files permanently deleted and will not be issued a refund of any kind whatsoever.
